2019 Free Career Seminar Tour: The Testimony

About Me

Hellooo 🗣😆. Thank you for stopping by 👏🎉💃. You are most welcome 😁.

I am Lydia Ndagilaya, a follower of Jesus Christ, a lady who loves to learn 📚, with an interesting sense of humour, an above average love for tea + hot beverage ☕️ and one who doesn't think adventures are that bad 😁. Professionally, I have degrees in Engineering from the United Kingdom and work in academia in Nigeria.

I am Marghi from the Southern part of Borno State, born and raised in Maiduguri. Marghi is a tribe predominantly located in Southern Borno and Northern Adamawa, states in Northeast Nigeria. We might be a minority, but we have a voice!

My Marghi name is NDAGILAYA, pronounced: 'Da-gi-la-ya' which literally means "Can a man dictate/determine?" This I have personally interpreted to mean "Only God sets my limitations" (and you know He has no limits, right? 🤓) in line with Ephesians 3:20 AMP: "Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely behind our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]."

Oh, I am unashamedly Christian so several posts on here would have undertones of my faith; this is no apology, but rather, a heads up. 😎 I have another blog dedicated to Bible teaching PneumaWord.org.

This aims to be a LIFE blog, doubling as a blog that pertains to the living, as well as L.I.F.E being an acronym for Love, Inspiration, Faith and Education (with occasional random features of course 😉) from lessons learned, observations, experiences (both of myself and others), books etc.

I consider 'Making A Difference' my life's passion and aim to use several channels to do so. Before I become a billionaire like Bill Gates 😆 (donating billions for humanitarian causes), I believe I could #MakeADifference by just smiling at someone for no reason, going out of my way to help a stranger, writing a piece on this blog that could inspire someone, calling someone out of the blue to check up on them, volunteering etc. My point is, we can all #MakeADifference (positively) in some way, no matter what stage we are in life.

Here's hoping that you find the posts here worthwhile, return for more, subscribe, share and above all, be inspired to #MakeADifference in your sphere of influence. Join the movement! 😎

God bless you 😘.

2019 Free Career Seminar Tour: The Testimony

Hello again 😁 Yesterday, I posted on here about the appeal I made for help last August, with hosting a FREE CAREER SEMINAR in Abuja. Well, I also posted the testimony from the FREE CAREER SEMINAR that ended up being a tour across Abuja, and in Nasarawa and Kaduna States. I literally posted the ensuing on Facebook too on 24th October 2019: When I started getting inspirational signals about hosting a Free Career Seminar in Abuja, I thought it'd be a one-day event where parents & students would attend & started making preparations. Well, Abuja isn't exactly cheap & I didn't have sponsors, just a donation (thanks so much Pat  😘 ).  I went to God about strategy & He led me to employ a similar strategy I've used in Ilorin: hold the seminars at various schools, like a tour. That way, venue is free and logistics are a lot easier to handle.  Sis Faith offered to help out and she was able to secure some schools in Nasarawa (thank you  😘...

2019 Free Career Seminar in Abuja: The Appeal

Hi all :) It's been nearly two years since I last posted on this blog (hides face 🙈). The prospect of me losing it jerked me out of my complacency. One of the things that happened in between was the founding of my businesses, LiLyVille Enterprises and LiLyVille Educational Consultancy  (LEC). You can visit  LiLyVille.biz  to read more about them. I made an appeal on Facebook on 16th August 2019 as I wanted to host an event in Abuja. I literally copied  and pasted what I wrote therein as you'll read below: I'm Lydia, a lecturer in Biomedical Engineering and Founder, LiLyVille Educational Consultancy (LEC). You can find out a bit about me professionally on  LinkedIn.com/in/lydiajilantikiri  and lightheartedly on  ndagilaya.com.   I want to organise a FREE CAREER SEMINAR for young people (especially teenagers but other ages are welcome to attend) and their parents in Abuja early September 2019 by God’s Grace and I need your help ...
