2019 Free Career Seminar Tour: The Testimony

The Birthing of Vision

From my observation of expecting mothers, pregnancy is no piece of cake! Many women go through extended periods of nausea and other challenging times, but in the end, do you notice how their faces lighten up when the baby kicks? How about after giving birth? Jesus rightly put it this way:"A woman has pain when her time to give birth comes. But after the child is born, she doesn't remember the pain anymore because she's happy that a child has been brought into the world." John 16:21 GW

The Birthing of Vision is similar. Just as not everyone rejoices when they hear the news that a woman is pregnant, not everyone would be excited about your vision either. Sometimes, we do ourselves a serious disservice when we excitedly reveal something's premature, anticipating that all would come on board or be excited at the conception, pregnancy or birthing stages of our vision; best to keep your mouth shut about somethings sometimes.

You see, some people might never call a pregnant woman to check up on her health or that of the baby or babies in the womb, but most share in the joy of birth by calling the mother, buying gifts etc. Many might not celebrate with you during the 'pregnancy' stage of your vision, but would come on board and want to identify with you after its birth, especially when you achieve some success (after its grown). You may be disappointed, but please, don't get offended; leave no room in your heart to harbour ills. There's too much that God needs to input into you and do through you that you shouldn't waste the least bit of energy in harbouring offences. Allow them to rejoice with you, but don't ever forget those that stuck by you when it didn't look like 'baby vision' would go full term or be birthed; these should probably occupy a special place in your heart.

Sometimes as well, God allows all the dependable channels we think we have to disappoint us so that our only option is Him. Hey, if God is all we have, it's good because He's all we need! Someone said, "you and God are a majority!". Then, He'll open the right doors we need and we'll ascribe all glory to Him. I have been in situations where some people offered to help me on the condition that I'll please them in one way or the other, but I just smiled and thought to myself: "No thanks, keep your 'favour', you've not brought me this far; God has and I'll stick with Him!" He has always been faithful despite my many shortcomings πŸ™πŸ™Œ. I've seen times without number when I depended on Him and He's used people that I have never met or known prior, to help and treat me like I was their family. Really, blessed is the name who puts His trust in God (Ps 34:8; 84:12). He's no respecter of persons so He can do similar for you too! Anchor your hope in God, He'll bring the right people your way needed to help expand that vision and equally use you as a destiny helper to others too. This way, God gets the glory and people, the appreciation.

So, if you're currently in the birthing phase of a vision, with tremendous pain and it seems too much to handle, please remember: (1) You are not the first to be in that situation. (2) You are just in the right place for God to help you.

Don't give up on that 'pregnancy', endure the pain and push; your bundle of joy is awaiting expression and many would soon celebrate with you in Jesus name, amen. Remember, your 'online sister' Lydia Ndagilaya is cheering you on πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜.

Stay faithful and focused! Your fine baby's coming!

God bless you.

2019 Free Career Seminar Tour: The Testimony

Hello again 😁 Yesterday, I posted on here about the appeal I made for help last August, with hosting a FREE CAREER SEMINAR in Abuja. Well, I also posted the testimony from the FREE CAREER SEMINAR that ended up being a tour across Abuja, and in Nasarawa and Kaduna States. I literally posted the ensuing on Facebook too on 24th October 2019: When I started getting inspirational signals about hosting a Free Career Seminar in Abuja, I thought it'd be a one-day event where parents & students would attend & started making preparations. Well, Abuja isn't exactly cheap & I didn't have sponsors, just a donation (thanks so much Pat  😘 ).  I went to God about strategy & He led me to employ a similar strategy I've used in Ilorin: hold the seminars at various schools, like a tour. That way, venue is free and logistics are a lot easier to handle.  Sis Faith offered to help out and she was able to secure some schools in Nasarawa (thank you  😘...

2019 Free Career Seminar in Abuja: The Appeal

Hi all :) It's been nearly two years since I last posted on this blog (hides face πŸ™ˆ). The prospect of me losing it jerked me out of my complacency. One of the things that happened in between was the founding of my businesses, LiLyVille Enterprises and LiLyVille Educational Consultancy  (LEC). You can visit  LiLyVille.biz  to read more about them. I made an appeal on Facebook on 16th August 2019 as I wanted to host an event in Abuja. I literally copied  and pasted what I wrote therein as you'll read below: I'm Lydia, a lecturer in Biomedical Engineering and Founder, LiLyVille Educational Consultancy (LEC). You can find out a bit about me professionally on  LinkedIn.com/in/lydiajilantikiri  and lightheartedly on  ndagilaya.com.   I want to organise a FREE CAREER SEMINAR for young people (especially teenagers but other ages are welcome to attend) and their parents in Abuja early September 2019 by God’s Grace and I need your help ...
